Thank you for visiting the website of the Epsilon Eta chapter of Alpha Xi Delta at South Dakota State University!
As sisters we hope to grow both personally and professionally. Our time as an undergrad is short and we strive to make the most out of our time here at State! We value sisterhood, leadership, knowledge, and community service. Through our dedication to each other and the chapter, we work continually at bettering ourselves and our community.
Welcome to the Epsilon Eta Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta! We are excited to see you engaging with our chapter and its members through our website. Currently, the Epsilon Eta Chapter encompasses 66 women who strive to uphold the morals and ideals of Alpha Xi Delta. In our 55th year at South Dakota State University, each woman continues to carry out the legacy our founding sisters created for us in 1893.
Sisterhood, leadership, knowledge, and service are the four pillars of excellence for Alpha Xi Delta. Our sisters use these pillars to better themselves academically, professionally, and personally. Along with that, we continue to implement a diversity and inclusion chair to better the decisions, services, academics, and successes of our chapter. We encourage each other to work hard in our academics, and we were previously recognized as the chapter with the highest GPA in sorority life. Our philanthropic efforts for The Foster Network are impactful for us and for the community. We can personally see the difference we are able to make in our own state which helps grow our passion for service to others. Within the chapter, officers create an environment for sisters to build relationships and connections in their personal and professional lives. All in all, Alpha Xi Delta advocates for women to realize their full potential.
As you look through our website, I hope that you are able to have some insight as to what this sisterhood means to us. Whether you are a family member or a woman curious about Greek-life, we appreciate your interest in our chapter. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact me! I would love to help you learn about Alpha Xi Delta and what makes this sisterhood so special.
